In order to find any real relief from pain we must fully understand it. Even more challenging, is finding a way to accept it. Stunningly, this is the way out of the intensity of suffering. Meanwhile, there are things we can do to better manage this ever present part of life. We can minimize our suffering greatly. This is the purpose of this 5 day offering. You will leave it with a greater awareness of the concepts and methods around the unwelcome but necessary thing we call pain (including the distinctions between acute and chronic pain, physical and emotional pain, pain and suffering).
